We are a group of athletes, coaches, and general cycling enthusiasts who believe that Durango would benefit from having a velodrome, and that track cycling in America would benefit from Durango having a velodrome. It is likely that we will become less anonymous as the project develops.

I am interested in this project and would like to help. Photography, shoveling dirt, organizing, whatever. I would love to be involved. I recently moved to Durango from the San Jose area and have spent a lot of time at Hellyer Park http://www.ridethetrack.com/
It would be so fun to have a track in the area.
